Fritz`s Family Restaurant in Richville

This was our 3rd time here. Each time the food has gotten better. It obviously was good the 1st time for us to return, but the food getting better I did not see happening. As always great service.

First visit...waitress was terrific, as well as the food and atmosphere. The German Potato salad was as good as Gramdma's. The fish is great!

A family place and bar with lots of tradition. I was there with a large group and we had the Sunday buffet, which is a good solution for groups. It isn't a huge buffet; maybe four entree choices, several side dishes, a modest salad table, and two soups. It is all good, though.

Service was fantastic!! Food was delicious!! A must visit! Homemade boneless wings were an epic find!!

Always fresh hot lunch and dinner buffets served daily. Great service, friendly staff. We always leave full.

Excellent service! Our waitress was very friendly and took good care of us even though it was busy. The Chicken Monterey was tasty. Their buffet price is very reasonable; everyone who ordered the buffet enjoyed it. Pleasant country atmosphere.

Great food and a fun place to go

Went here for my grandma's birthday. They easily can accommodate 14 people. There was a buffet as it was Sunday. It was my husband and I with two of our young children. Their kids menu was alright but my daughter does not recommend the corn dogs. My husband had the prime rib with mushrooms and onions and it was gone within minutes. Ordered the hot roast beef sandwich which was very dry. There was not enough gravy to have fixed how dry the meat was. The mashed potatoes are a but bland as well but understandable as it seemed to be more of an older crowd.I've been coming here for years and the people and service are wonderful. Just the food is not as good as it used to be.

This food was very nostalgic for me! My husband and I opted for the buffet. The way the food was made reminded me of days gone by, having dinner at my grandma's! We are visiting Frankenmuth for the weekend and wanted to try something different. It's a bit of a jog, but Fritz's chicken is MUCH better than the Zehnder's chicken.

Employees are nice the buffet has a lot of options but the chicken is always boney and barely any meat or flavor

Nice restaurant with good service by Rose. Buffet food quality is good to moderate and cost effective. Drinks were very good and it has a nice homey atmosphere for family gatherings.

Just left Fritz's restaurant in Richfield, MI. Wonderful people, delicious food.. a cozy bar with booths. Been in business since 1851. Family owned and operator. My husband, Bruce, has known Fred, the owner since 1974.You'll be glad you made the trip.

Great food (including traditional German fare) and very friendly service.

Was gonna try for the first time tonight so called at 7:45 to make sure hours was still 9 pm and was told been slow so going to close, thinking 8:15 8:30 tonight. Will never try now as if you care that little for your customers to close when you choose instead of set time you will never get my money.

We had lunch buffet. All of the food is excellent and made from scratch. The salad bar had do many choices! The soup was really good! We were pleased to have an amazing waitress that was attentive and really nice!

The best restaurant ever, no fuss, no bull, great food, excellent wait staff. All wrapped in one package, we drive for 120 miles just to eat there. And affordable too
